I'm Mauro Mairati, Mountain Guide, born back in 1966 in Galliate (NO) a town in the Po Valley where on clear days you can see theimposing chain of Monte Rosa. Just this serrated line of mountains impressed and intrigued me during my cycling raids at the age of 14, then it was love at first sight!
It was very difficult at first not finding companions willing to accompany a wild boy ... The most peaceful hike became for a challenge on any mountain ... Messner, Bonatti and Rebuffat they were my favorite characters, then the meeting with expert instructors fortunately made me progress with the technique allowing me to travel the first itineraries at high altitude. Then the charm of sport climbing by Manolo and Edlinger they led me to climb crags all over Europe and to obtain the title of national sport climbing instructor in 1990.
Afterwards, my love for high altitude led me to take historical and extreme itineraries all over the Alps.
Now the most beautiful thing for me is to transmit mine experience with enthusiasm unchanged to my customers along the mountain in every season: wide-ranging climbs at high altitudes, rocky walls of all difficulties, multi-day trekking, via ferrata and in winter splendid trips with snowshoes and skis, freeride descents in the paradises of our Alps .
All the activities indicated in the calendar activities can be organized on other dates on request.
Among the via ferrata we indicate, as an example,
Fwrong Gamma 2 very difficult max 2 people 100 euros each.
