The Harry Potter Ferrata is a ferrata specifically designed to bring children closer to this type of trip, allowing the use of equipment and progression techniques in an easy and protected environment.
The starting point is La Trinité near the Jolanda ski lifts. You park in the large parking lot at the Jolanda hotel.
From the car park, cross the bridge over the Lys stream on the right bank. On the right side of the bridge you can see a large boulder around children's games. This boulder will be the object of our brief and ferrata education (5 'from the parking lot).
The Harry Potter Ferrata begins with a climb up a stepped slab leaning to the right, then tackles a short horizontal traverse and climbs up a short rocky prominence. Thus we come to a short bridge with two suspended ropes with which we reach a short vertical wall with metal brackets and reach the end of the short via ferrata (10 'from the start - 15' from the parking lot).
At the top there is the possibility through a tyrolienne to go down to the valley.
From the top of the boulder it wanders and descends to the opposite side (15 'from the end of the ferrata - 30' in total)
This is an ideal via ferrata for children (and even adults with little mountain experience) to try a first ferrata.
